STEWI - Made in Switzerland. STEWI (STEiner WInterthur) was founded in 1947 by Walter Steiner Senior. The first products were made from wood and hemp ropes. Since the 1960s, the well-known and widely used STEWI models have been developed and produced exclusively from aluminum and plastic. All individual parts of a STEWI are manufactured at our production site in Winterthur near Zurich. We use only the highest quality raw materials and produce our plastic parts in our in-house injection molding department.
