The drills are made of high-quality HSS steel with 5% cobalt. The Irwin HSS cobalt metal drills are designed for drilling in extremely hard materials such as V2A and V4A steel as well as cast iron. It is recommended to drill materials with a hardness of 800 N/mm² to 1100 N/mm².
