The RK series terminal block enclosure has a high protection rating of IP 54 to IP 66. Standard equipment includes an IP 54 mounting adapter and a 35 x 7.5 mm mounting rail for individual configuration. It features wall mounting options on the bottom of the enclosure (alternatively below the cover screws) and metric pre-formed knockouts. No additional drilling or milling is required - simply knock out the openings with a screwdriver and install the included IP 54 mounting adapters. The cover, made of impact-resistant polystyrene, is standardly sealable. To achieve a higher protection rating (up to IP 66), it is sufficient to replace the mounting adapters with cable glands. The enclosure material is halogen-free and has the UL "Yellow Card.".
