Spax Universal screws

The universal screw is the ultimate all-rounder in Spax's range. It can handle almost anything – for example, it can be driven into softwoods like spruce and pine, as well as into common wood-based panels (MDF, chipboard, and OSB) without any pre-drilling. The universal screw demonstrates its superiority especially in interior construction and furniture building, but it can also be effectively used outdoors with the appropriate corrosion protection. Its special thread geometry significantly reduces the driving resistance compared to conventional screws, which not only saves your energy and nerves but also preserves the battery life of the screwdriver being used. Splitting of the wood near the edges is reliably prevented. This means for you: you can drive in more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about split wood ends.
