The SPAX Multi countersunk head universal screws with T-STAR plus recess guarantee the user greater flexibility thanks to their universal applicability in different materials such as wood, plastic or sheet metal. The multi-head with recessed pocket segments and the milling ribs ensure that the screw is countersunk cleanly and flush into wood and the brake ribs effectively prevent over-tightening when employees are working with metal fittings, creating a solid connection between the fitting and the component. The T-STAR plus (Torx) holder enables better force transmission to the screw, longer tool life and faster threading of the screw with a better fit on the workpiece. The integrated 4CUT tip enables screwing without pre-drilling (depending on the wood used), which is achieved by the square shape of the screw from the tip to the transition of the thread to the shank.

The 4CUT shape minimises splitting of the material and significantly reduces the screw-in torque. In addition, the typical SPAX wave profile of the partial thread ensures easy and secure screwing. The new WIROX coating from SPAX also offers 20 times greater corrosion protection and a significantly higher surface hardness than conventional bright galvanised screws, which means that the range of applications can be extended many times over in outdoor areas. The customary 100% "Made in Germany" quality of SPAX screws is certified by the TÜV with proof of origin through an elaborate test procedure and offers a high degree of safety and continuity.
