Product details

SKF self-aligning ball bearings 2RS with contact seals on both sides, 2208 E-2RS1TN9 40x80x23

Bearing series 22
Version with cylindrical and tapered bore.
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls and a common concave sphered raceway in the outer ring. They are moveable angularly and insensitive to angular misalignments of the shaft relative to the housing. This makes them particularly suitable for bearing situations where large shaft deflections or alignment errors can be expected. Self-aligning ball bearings also have the lowest friction of any rolling-contact bearings, allowing them to run more quietly and cooler even at higher speeds.
Main dimensions DIN 630:1993 / DIN 616:2000 / ISO 15:1998
