Operating Instructions. Double Row - Self Adjusting. Self-adjusting radial ball bearing. These bearings are designed to allow shaft deflection during operation. They can also compensate for initial misalignment. The double row bearing was developed primarily to support radial loads. Axial loads are permitted only to a limited extent. Also available with ring seals (rubber seals) made of oil-resistant, wear-resistant synthetic rubber with steel reinforcements on both sides (type 2RS1). Open bearings. ETN9 and KTN9 are open, self-aligning bearings without seals. They are available with parallel or tapered bores. Sealed bearings. 2RS1TN9 are sealed NBR bearings filled with grease to which a lithium thickener is added. These bearings are suitable for temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C. Fully enclosed, they must not be heated above 80 °C before installation. Never wash out the bearings! TN at the end of the part number indicates the polyamide cage.
