SKF Needle Bearing without Inner Ring, NK 16/16, 16x24x16

Needle bearings of type RNA 49, RNA 69, NK, and NKS. Needle bearings with raceways made of rolling bearing steel are low-profile rolling bearings with relatively high load capacity. Bearings without inner rings provide an optimal solution for applications where the shafts can be hardened and ground. Since the inner ring is omitted, the shaft can be designed to be stronger and therefore stiffer. The axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing is now only dependent on the width of the raceway on the shaft. The bearings with flanges on the outer ring are primarily designed as single-row bearings. In all cases, the outer ring, needle rollers, and cage form a self-contained unit. Bearings of the RNA 49 series are also available with sealing rings, which effectively protect the bearings against the ingress of contaminants and the escape of lubricant.

Main dimensions: ISO 15:2011 / DIN 620:2000 / ISO 1206:2001 / DIN 617:1993 for bearings of the (R)NA 48, (R)NA 49, and (R)NA 69 series.

Prefix designations:

NK / NKS - Needle bearings with flanges on the outer ring, without inner ring

Suffix designations:
2RS - Steel sheet reinforced contact seals made of acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) on both sides
TN - Glass fiber reinforced cage made of polyamide 66.
