Single-row deep groove ball bearings are particularly versatile. They have a simple design, are self-retaining, suitable for high to very high speeds, and are resistant to operation and maintenance. The deep raceways and the close fit between the raceways and the balls allow for the accommodation of radial loads as well as axial loads in both directions, even at high speeds. The cage is made of steel sheet and is ball-guided. Main dimensions according to DIN 625-1:1989, DIN 616:2000, and ISO 15:1998. Additional designation: 2RS (2RS1/2RSH) with steel sheet reinforced contact seals made of acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) on both sides. C3 clearance larger than normal.
