SKF Spherical Roller Bearing Open Design, 22218 EK/C3 90x160x40

This design features a cylindrical and tapered bore. Spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers with a common spherical raceway in the outer ring and two inclined raceways on the inner ring relative to the bearing axis. They combine a variety of advantageous properties that make them indispensable for many demanding bearing applications. Spherical roller bearings are angularly movable and therefore insensitive to misalignment of the shaft to the housing as well as shaft deflections. These bearings are extremely high in radial load capacity and can also accommodate relatively high axial loads in both directions.
