Simpson Sst Connecting plate

NP perforated plates are made of sendzimir galvanized plates, steel quality: S 250 GD + Z 275 according to DIN EN 10346. They feature corrosion protection of 275 g/m2 on both sides, which corresponds to a zinc layer thickness of approximately 20 μm.

Advantages include versatility as a fastener, supporting wood and wood materials. There are many possible applications for perforated sheets in structural timber engineering, particularly in the production of trusses and collar beam trusses, used together with Simpson Strong-Tie® CNA grooved nails or CSA screws. All perforated sheets may be calculated as thick sheets in accordance with EC5 or DIN 1052, allowing for the higher values of nail load-bearing capacities to be utilized for the 1.5 mm plates.
