SIRIUS soft starter 200-480 V 32 A, AC 110-250 V spring-loaded terminals. The SIRIUS 3RW55 soft starter is a high-performance device for demanding applications that enables a smooth start and stop of three-phase asynchronous motors. It offers stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations in the power supply during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it provides significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and easy to handle.

The integrated bypass allows for a compact design, saves energy, and ensures lower heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor from overload. Furthermore, the current can be limited to an adjustable maximum value during startup. Thanks to the three-phase control, it is particularly suitable for large motor power and root-3 circuits. The innovative torque control ensures optimal motor acceleration.

Commissioning is simple and quick through auto-parameterization or application assistant. Predictive maintenance planning is possible through condition monitoring. The detachable HMI with color display provides clear measurement and diagnostic displays. The soft starter has worldwide approvals, such as IEC and UL/CSA.

The high-performance soft starters 3RW55 are available for networks up to 690 V in a power range up to 560 kW, with 24 V or 110-250 V control supply voltages and consistently with screw and spring-loaded connections. Analog output and thermistor motor protection are integral parts of the high-performance soft starters. Optional plug-in communication modules allow connection via PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and Modbus TCP.
