SIRIUS Soft Starter 200-480 V 18 A, AC/DC 24 V spring-loaded terminals Failsafe. The Failsafe SIRIUS 3RW55 High Performance is designed for demanding safety applications and enables a smooth start and stop of three-phase asynchronous motors. It offers stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it provides significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and easy to handle.

The integrated bypass allows for a compact design, saves energy, and ensures lower heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor from overload. Furthermore, the current during startup can be limited to an adjustable maximum value. Thanks to the three-phase control, it is particularly suitable for large motor outputs. The innovative torque control ensures optimal motor startup.

Commissioning is simple and quick through auto-parameterization or application assistant. Predictive maintenance planning is possible through condition monitoring. A detachable HMI with a color display provides clear measurement and diagnostic displays. The soft starter has worldwide approvals, including for explosion-hazardous applications.

The High Performance Soft Starters Failsafe 3RW55 are available for networks up to 600 V in a power range up to 315 kW with 24 V or 110-250 V control supply voltages and consistently feature screw and spring-loaded connections. Analog output and thermistor motor protection are integral parts of the High Performance Soft Starters. Optional plug-in communication modules enable connection via PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and Modbus TCP. The built-in HMI module can also be mounted in the control cabinet door.
