Thanks to the already integrated certified safety function Safe Torque Off (STO), STO via terminal/with PROFIsafe, additional external components can be omitted. Commissioning/operation is quick and easy via PC through USB, locally via a Basic Operator panel, or an Intelligent Operator Panel, or wirelessly using the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access Module. The networking of drives is possible via standard fieldbus systems (PROFINET, PROFIBUS), and there is a card slot for cloning parameter sets for intuitive series commissioning. To enhance energy efficiency, the converter is equipped with precise, energy-optimized vector control SLVC and features automatic flow reduction. The SINAMICS G120C covers the three-phase voltage range of 3AC 380 V to 480 V and is available in seven sizes with a power range of 0.55 kW to 132 kW. The SINAMICS G120C frequency converter can be individually adapted to user requirements through various options such as local or mobile control units, connection cables, line filters, braking resistors, line chokes, and additional accessories. The variable speed devices are an integral part of Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) and work optimally with SIMATIC controllers. The all-rounder SINAMICS G120C is the successor product to the MICROMASTER 420 frequency converter. SINAMICS - simply my drive.
