As a standalone component, the SIMATIC PN/CAN LINK provides a seamless transition between PROFINET and a CAN network. CAN devices can thus be easily connected to a PROFINET network to communicate with SIMATIC components. This opens up numerous possibilities for the simple implementation of modern production concepts, even for existing plants and machines.
