The decentralized frequency converter Sinamics G115D is the solution for applications with horizontal movement. It is a new decentralized drive. This versatile, robust, and decentralized solution offers performance features specifically tailored for conveyor applications and is characterized by an innovative design that facilitates connection, commissioning, and servicing.

With the Sinamics G115D, you benefit from an immediately ready-to-use system with comprehensive TIA integration and cloud connectivity, as well as operation under harsh conditions. The converter is available in a wall-mounted version and offers a power range from 0.37 to 7.5 kW. It is available in sizes from FSA to FSC and has a protection class of IP65 or IP66.

The Sinamics G115D can be customized to meet application requirements through various options such as external braking resistors, SD memory cards, web server modules for wireless commissioning, different connector types, etc. Additionally, it allows for easy system configuration with predefined macros in the converter and pre-made function blocks from the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) for quick connection to a SIMATIC controller.
