The D0 fuse system is used in low-voltage installations where the fuse inserts are accessible to non-professionals and can be replaced by them. It is the most modern screw fuse system designed for 400 VAC/250 VDC. The sizes D01, D02, and D03 make up the D0 system. D0 fuse inserts are used to protect cables and installations. They safely disconnect unacceptable overloads and short-circuit currents up to the rated disconnection current. D0 fuse inserts of the operating class gG also protect electrical devices and installations from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents.
