The SIRIUS 3RW52 General Performance soft starter is designed for simple applications that require a smooth start and stop of three-phase asynchronous motors. It allows for stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations in the grid during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it offers significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and easy to handle.

The integrated bypass ensures a compact design, saves energy, and reduces heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor from overload. The current can be limited to an adjustable maximum value during the startup phase. Thanks to the three-phase control, it is particularly suitable for large motor outputs and star-delta circuits.

The innovative Soft-Torque function ensures a gentle motor startup. With the integrated remote reset, disturbances can be quickly and easily resolved from a distance. The soft starter has worldwide approvals.

The General Performance soft starters 3RW52 are available for networks up to 600 V in a power range up to 560 kW with 24 V or 110-250 V control supply voltages and are consistently equipped with screw and spring terminals.
