One Cable Connection (OCC) MOTION-CONNECT is the simple, fast, and secure connection for the SINAMICS S210 servo drive and the SIMOTICS S-1FK2 servo motor. The servo motor and the servo drive are connected using just one cable instead of the usual two or three wires. With this one-cable technology featuring the SPEED-CONNECT quick release, power, encoder connection, and brake control are combined into a single line. This offers several advantages, such as saving time by installing only one cable and reducing installation space or cable management requirements. Additionally, only one cable needs to be cleaned, which is particularly beneficial in industries with high hygiene standards. The cable is also available for order in decimeter lengths and features an M17 or M12 connector on the motor side (the smallest OCC connector in the world). Easy installation is facilitated even in tight spaces with the compact motor and small, rotatable connector.
