Drive head for position switch 3SE5132 with plastic roller plunger, diameter 13 mm, operational at -40 °C. The drive head is designed for the SIRIUS 3SE5 position switch and is used for the position and orientation detection of machine parts as well as for the monitoring of protective devices in extreme environmental conditions down to -40 °C, such as in wind turbines, the food industry, or railway applications.
The devices are suitable for use in extreme environments due to their high protection class. They offer enhanced corrosion protection, are shock and vibration tested, and are globally certified (IEC, UL). With the appropriate switch configuration, the highest safety requirements according to PL e or SIL 3 can be met.
Various housing sizes in plastic or metal are available. Additionally, variants with separate actuators or with interlocks are offered. Depending on the version, various drives and separate actuators are available as accessories. Safety is a SIRIUS business.
