The SINAMICS power module is the specialist for building technology for the SINAMICS G120P frequency converter. In combination with the appropriate control unit CU230P-2 and an operating panel (Intelligent Operator Panel or Basic Operator Panel) or optionally a blank cover, the functional SINAMICS G120P frequency converter is created.

Due to the high protection class, use in harsh environments is possible, for example, at ambient temperatures of up to 60 degrees. The PM230 with protection class IP55 generates only low network feedback without additional measures as well as apparent power losses and ensures self-resetting of faults after a power failure. In addition to the energy benefits, the environment is also preserved.

The PM230 power module with protection class IP55 is available for wall mounting outside the control cabinet, ranging from 0.37 kW to 90 kW. The sizes FSA to FSF of the PM230 power module with protection class IP55 are available with integrated Class A network filter for installations according to category C2 and with integrated Class B network filter according to category C1 in accordance with EN 61800-3.
