The SITOP PSE200U selectivity module is the optimal addition for all 24 V power supplies to distribute and monitor load current across multiple branches. Overloads and short circuits in one or more branches are reliably detected. Short-term current peaks, such as those caused by high inrush current, are tolerated by the electronics, while branches with prolonged overload are disconnected. This is ensured even on high-resistance lines and in the case of creeping short circuits. The intact branches continue to be supplied with 24 V without interruption and without feedback, thereby minimizing downtime of the system. Faulty channel signaling is indicated via LEDs and individual channel reporting. Free function blocks for SIMATIC S7, STEP 7, and TIA Portal, as well as SIMOTION CPUs with SIMOTION SCOUT, are available for evaluation. The outputs meet the requirements of NEC Class 2.
