Shiverpeaks® Basic S USB LAN Multi Tester RJ45 Network Tester / ISDN / LAN / USB / RJ11 / RJ12 / RJ45

The cable tester is an ideal device for testing and locating network and communication cabling. The tester supports the following testing functions:

  • For testing and locating already installed network or communication cables. The device comes with a matching zippered synthetic leather case. Includes an English user manual. A battery is required for operation (not included).
  • Continuity testing of network or communication cables.
  • For locating unconnected individual wires.
  • Configuration: 1 to 1 wiring check.

The cable tester consists of two modular units, the cable tester and a receiving unit. Due to its modular design, the cable tester can be used for local loop-back cable tests as well as for testing already installed cables using the receiving unit. Furthermore, this cable tester is equipped with an auto-scan and a manual test mode.

For checking RJ45 cables according to EITA/TIA 568 A/B standards - for testing CAT 5/6 network and ISDN connections, as well as for checking USB cables.

  • Connection test with LED display for 8 individual wires and shielding.
  • Operates with a 9V battery (not included).
