Altistart U01. The Altistart U01 is a unit with soft start/soft stop functionality for asynchronous motors. It is primarily designed for combinations with TeSys model U control devices/starters. When combined with a TeSys model U, the Altistart U01 serves as a power supply option that provides the "soft start/soft stop" function. The result is a unique, innovative motor starter. By using the Altistart U01 starter, the starting performance of asynchronous motors is enhanced, allowing the motor to start slowly, smoothly, and in a controlled manner. Two phases of motor power supply can be controlled to limit the starting current and to decelerate the motor. Internal bypass relay. Motor rated power: 0.75 kW to 15 kW. Motor supply voltages: 200 to 480 V, 50/60 Hz. An external 24 V power supply is required for controlling the starter.
