The Acti9 iCV40N VigiARC is an AFDD (Arc Fault Detection Device/Fire Protection Switch) designed to detect arc faults in combination with an RCD/MCB. It features 1P+N, a rated current of 16A, and a B-characteristic. The residual current device is a Type A-SI with a sensitivity of 30mA, and the earth fault protection is instantaneous. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is up to 6000A at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 61009-2-1 and 10kA at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD, in combination with the RCD/MCB, protects against short circuits, overload currents, electric shock from indirect contact, and fire hazards due to arc faults. The two unique VisiTrip indicators of the Acti9 iArc reduce intervention time by displaying the tripped circuit and quickly identifying the type of fault. The electrical lifespan is up to 10,000 operations and the mechanical lifespan is up to 20,000 switching cycles. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 250VAC.
