It is compatible with Smart Friends smart home system, which allows additional control via Smart Friends app or combination with other smart products. The scope of delivery includes a 2-channel and a 4-channel handheld transmitter, a wall holder for handheld transmitters, an interior pushbutton and a light barrier. The high radio security level, simple programming and possible expansion with extensive accessories make the Smart Drive XL a powerful model with many extras. The garage door opener has a tractive force of 1000 N and is suitable for garage doors weighing up to 100 kg. A door height of 2.35 m should not be exceeded.The Smart Drive XL is ready for use in a short time thanks to the simple one-person assembly and the semi-automatic end position adjustment. The 3-part guide rail of the Smart Drive XL is attached to the ceiling with a minimum clearance of 35 mm and is made of galvanized, torsion-resistant steel. When the set end points are reached, the motor switches off with pinpoint accuracy thanks to electronic travel detection.The motor head is mounted on a galvanized steel plate, which gives the garage door drive more stability. The control panel and an LED display are located under the motor head. Additional connection options can be found at the back of the drive, where, for example, an additional LED garage lighting or a wicket door contact can be connected. Furthermore, the Smart Drive XL has an integrated LED lamp as well as a cold plug connection to which the Schellenberg spiral cable can be connected as a practical additional socket for the garage. Both the integrated, as well as the additional connected light switch on automatically when the garage door is opened and switch off automatically after three minutes. Another practical feature is that the light can be switched on or off independently of the garage door using the hand-held transmitter.
