The Gorria chili is a traditional variety from the Pyrenees, known as the basis for the famous Ezpeletako biperra (Piment d’Espelette). With a pleasant, medium heat and an intense aroma, it is perfect for spice blends, grilled dishes, or stuffed chilies. The robust plants produce bright red pods that are 10–14 cm long and can be easily dried and ground into powder.
