Harvest fresh leaf lettuce with the hardy Winterlattughino as early as April and May!
Sow from mid-August to mid-September in the open field or in a seedbed with a row spacing of 20 cm.
In case of severe cold, protect the plants with fir branches. In spring, it is advisable to apply some complete fertilizer. The leaves can be picked or cut until the plants bolt.
Thin the plants to about 5 cm apart and use the young plants as salad.
