Annual marjoram, height 20-30 cm, loves sunny locations. It is used in the kitchen for meat fillings, game, legumes, potatoes, and soups.
Plant from April to mid-May in pots and later directly in rows with a spacing of 20 cm. From mid-May, plant in a warm, sunny location with a spacing of 15 x 20 cm. Keep the soil loose and weed-free. The leaves taste more aromatic before flowering.
Young leaves and shoots can be harvested from July to October.
