Sow in a hotbed from March or in the field from April to September. Plant in broad cubes or in rows, covering the seeds lightly. Keep the soil moist. Indoor sowing is possible year-round, using a germination apparatus, flat bowls, non-woven paper, or cotton wool. Seeds should be kept moist but never submerged in water. After 2-7 days, they can be used as a salad or on sandwiches.
