Product details

The young leaves are used as salad, mixed salad, and spinach-like vegetable side dishes. Perennial, sow in trays in March, and directly in the bed from April to July. Thin out seedlings or plant them in nutrient-rich soil, spacing 40 cm apart. It is used as a medicinal plant for gout, rheumatism, and anemia. It has a diuretic effect. It is an important food plant for caterpillars of native butterflies.
