The leaves are perfect for seasoning many dishes and meals. In the past, it was a well-known medicinal and culinary herb. Sow from February to April in seed trays, and from May onwards, sow directly outdoors. Transplanting: from mid-May, with a spacing of 30 cm. Thinning: pot up strong seedlings, and thin out direct sowings. Harvest: from June until frost, young leaves and shoot tips.
