Plant the bulbs immediately from the end of September to December and from February to early May. Dig a planting hole 50 cm deep, with the width depending on the number of bulbs. Mix the excavated material with sand or peat. Place a drainage layer of 10 cm of gravel at the bottom of the hole, followed by 10 cm of coarse soil. Then mix the excavated material. Nestle the bulbs in the sand and cover them with 12-15 cm of soil. Pour the remaining excavated material over the planting area to form a mound.
