Plant bulbs immediately from the end of September to December and from February to early May. Dig a 50 cm planting pit, with the width depending on the number of bulbs. Mix the excavated material with sand or peat. Install drainage at the bottom with 10 cm of gravel followed by 10 cm of coarse earth. After mixing the excavated material, bed the bulbs in sand and cover with 12-15 cm of soil. Pour the excavated material over the planting site to create a mound.
