The small, densely packed purple flower balls float on the long, sturdy, almost leafless stems. They are suitable for cutting.
Sow in pots or trays, do not cover the seeds. Plant in the final location from mid-May, spacing 40-50 cm apart. Water, keep weed-free, and cut off faded flowers.
