Product details

Artichokes are not only a fine delicacy vegetable from the Mediterranean region, but when in bloom, they also make impressive blue cut flowers.

Sowing: March to April, sow 3-4 seeds per pot, later allow only the strongest plant to grow.

Transplanting: In a sheltered location in well-fertilized, well-draining soil, with a spacing of 60 x 60 cm.

Care: Protect in winter with leaves and twigs; in spring, allow only 2 shoots to grow, remove the others and provide some complete fertilizer.

Tip: Blooming artichokes also make beautiful cut flowers.
