The LS71TE is certified for use without a vacuum cleaner. The LS71TE, or Ventury Delta with electronic speed control, is Rupes' latest innovation, launched in May 2015. The LS71TE sander is equipped with a powerful fan that not only cools the motor but also extracts fine dust and blows it into the Ventury filter. The Rupes machines in the 71 series, which includes the LS71T, come standard with the Ventury filter that completely filters the particles. The combination of the LS71TE and the Ventury filter works so well that this patented combination has been approved by TNO for particle standards. So when you purchase one, it is directly certified for particle standards. For all other sanders on the market, at least an external vacuum cleaner is required to obtain a TNO certificate for fine dust. In addition to this unique specification, the machine has been improved in all aspects compared to its predecessors: - Perfect balance, including a double bearing - a cord of nearly 5 meters - 10% faster sanding - the lightest machine of its kind at just 1.1 kg - vibrations are neutralized, making it quiet in hand - thanks to additional holes in the sanding pad, cooling and dust extraction are enhanced.
