The deep-ground and spiral flute offers absolutely smooth running and high cutting performance. In particular, non-breaking chips are cleanly removed as with a twist drill. This reduces the formation of built-up edges and cold welding on the cutting edges. The cone facilitates the retraction of drilled through sheets.
