The Ruko M DIN 371 HSS-TiN machine tap is a high-performance tool specifically designed for machining metric ISO threads. With a titanium nitride coating, this tap offers increased surface hardness and improved tool life, making it ideal for use in various materials, including unalloyed and alloyed steels as well as stainless metals. The tap is suitable for creating through and blind holes and allows for thread cutting in a single operation. The special flank design and right-hand spiral flutes ensure efficient chip removal and precise thread formation. The use of high-speed steel (HSS) guarantees high wear resistance and durability of the tool. Although cooling is not strictly necessary, it is recommended to further extend the life of the tap.
