The RUKO core drills with Tecrona coating and carbide cutting edges are universally applicable for non-hardened steels and super alloys. The Tecrona coating is the ideal coating for all drilling operations that put extreme stress on the tool. It adheres very well to the tool, which increases the surface hardness to about 4200 HV due to the wear protection coating. The friction coefficient is extremely low with this coating, which extends the tool life with minimal wear. They can be used on all rail drilling machines. The cutting edge geometry has been specifically optimized for heavy machining of railway tracks, allowing for economical use.
