This is a PFA-insulated and shielded extension cable designed for extending platinum resistance thermometers. It can withstand high temperatures of up to 260 °C and features an extruded PFA-PTFE construction. While it is typically used for PT100 thermometers, it is also suitable for other types such as Pt130, Pt500, and Pt1000. The cable is available in 4- and 6-wire configurations to extend 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTD arrangements. The 6-wire option is suitable for extension applications. It includes PFA-insulated tinned copper conductors, 7/0.2 mm, twisted wires with nylon string, and a tinned copper braid shielding with a PFA-insulated outer jacket. The cable offers good mechanical strength and flexibility as well as resistance to oils, acids, and other harmful liquids.
