As long as the hydraulic circuit is under pressure, no attempt should be made to disconnect or loosen the brass ISO B quick couplings. Appropriate protective equipment should be worn, such as latex/neoprene Duomix gloves and eye protection like a face shield or similar. The brass ISO B quick couplings are equipped with VITON fluoroelastomer seals, including a seat valve and mechanical locking balls, suitable for use in environments from -15 to +180 °C. ISO B quick couplings are fully interchangeable with products from the B series according to ISO 7241-1, designed to prevent connection or disconnection under residual pressure, and they can be easily connected or disconnected by simply pulling back the outer sleeve.
