The polycarbonate sheet in technical quality is not UV resistant. Polycarbonate sheets and rods are the most robust thermoplastics on the market and are practically unbreakable in use. They are flame-retardant with very low water absorption and have a temperature range of -90 °C to +120 °C. They are easy to weld and have a flammability class of UL94 HB. Applications for polycarbonate sheets include: machine protection devices, protective screens, signage, displays, illuminated signage, and poster covers.
