RS satin mops are professional satin mops available in various grades for specific tasks. By using grades at different levels (coarse for heavy coatings and rust, medium and fine for smoothing before polishing), excellent results can be achieved. All polishing discs feature a traditional drilled leather center for easy attachment to a tapered spindle. The mops can also be used to create a satin finish or to clean cast aluminum when polishing is not required. For a good surface, it is important that the workpiece surface is smooth before starting the polishing process.

There are very fine, fine, medium, and coarse options:

• Coarse option for use with a spindle in a drill to remove paint and heavy rust from metal.
• Medium option for smoothing and preparing the surface before final polishing.
• Fine and very fine options for smoothing and preparing the surface before final polishing. The fine option can also be used to clean rusty tools.

For a satin or matte finish on metal, the coarse option removes paint and heavy rust from metal and can be quite aggressive.
