Aluminum rod - grade 6026. These aluminum rods from RS are made from the recently developed alloy 6026 to meet the requirements of European environmental directives: 2000/53/EC-ELV for the automotive industry; 2002/95/EC-RoHS for the electronics and electrical industry. The alloy 6026 contains no tin, which is known to cause weakness and/or cracks in machined parts when exposed to high temperatures or stresses. Applications: automotive components, hot forging, machined parts, hard or decorative anodizing, electronic and electrical parts.
