The Röntgen bi-alpha cobalt saw band has a high mechanical wear resistance due to the optimal tempered structure of the tooth tip, where a variety of high-hard special carbides are particularly evenly distributed. Their firm embedding in a temperature-resistant martensitic environment and the high cobalt content ensure very good thermal wear resistance. The carrier band made of high-alloy, chromium-containing spring steel guarantees excellent bending fatigue strength.
