BlähTon is a granulate that can be used for many different purposes. In gardening and landscaping, BlähTon is used to improve soil, to green roofs, or to create an ideal foundation for hydroponics. BlähTon is a substrate replacement that is often used in hydroponics due to its advantages. It is ideally suited as a drainage material in containers, boxes, and pots or as an additive for potting soil during repotting. Thanks to the porous structure of BlähTon, air exchange in the root area is promoted, and waterlogging is prevented. BlähTon from FloraSelf naturally increases the water available to plants. Since BlähTon cannot bind nutrients, the nutrient content can be controlled through the water.
