The hearing of babies and young children is not yet fully developed and therefore reacts particularly sensitively to noise. Noises above 85 decibels, for example at the airport or during fireworks, are harmful to sensitive baby ears and can cause permanent hearing damage. That's why you should protect your little one's hearing as much as possible. The SilentGuard Baby earmuffs offer reliable protection against harmful noises and thus prevent possible hearing damage. All noises louder than 80 decibels (e.g. lawn mowers, crowds) have a damaging effect on hearing in the long term. The louder the sounds get, the faster damage occurs. For example, noise above 110 decibels (e.g., fireworks, honking car in close proximity) can cause immediate hearing damage. The earmuffs offer reliable protection for sensitive baby ears due to their attenuation of 25 SNR (Single Number Rating). The attenuation value 25 SNR means that the volume is attenuated by the hearing protector by an average of 25 decibels before it hits the eardrum. Thus, loud noises are usually reduced to a harmless level (below 80 decibels). The soft, elastic headband can be flexibly adjusted in size thanks to Velcro. This allows the headband to be individually adjusted to the size of your baby's head, so that it fits tightly without pinching and thus offers optimal wearing comfort. Even sleeping children are not disturbed by the soft and thin headband.
