The classic choice for sprout enthusiasts with three tiers, designed for growing all types of sprouts. The device consists of multiple levels, allowing for the cultivation of three seed varieties simultaneously. It operates on the greenhouse principle.
How to grow sprouts in the sprouting device:
1. Preparation: Rinse the sprouting device with cold water. Place the device horizontally in a bright and warm location, avoiding direct sunlight. The red siphon caps should fit properly but not too tightly on the water drainage tubes.
2. Rinsing: Rinse the seeds thoroughly in a sieve under running water before sowing.
3. Sowing: Distribute the seeds on the sprouting tray. Stack the trays so that the red drainage siphons are staggered, not directly on top of each other.
4. Watering: Pour water into the top tray until the siphon cap is completely covered (at least 0.5 liters) and water begins to drain. The individual seed trays will now be automatically watered in succession. A small amount of water remains in each tray to create humidity, which allows the seeds to grow optimally. After the water has drained, empty the water collection tray and add a little fresh water to cover the bottom.
5. Harvesting: Harvest crisp, fresh sprouts and seedlings after 2-10 days. Wash the harvest before consumption. Sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
6. Cleaning: All used items (sprouting device, siphon caps, sieve, watering container, spoon, etc.) must be thoroughly cleaned. It’s best to use fruit vinegar and a soft brush. The device is dishwasher safe. Rinse with clear water and let it dry.
