Broccoli sprouts have a mildly spicy flavour. Sprouts are the easiest way to incorporate essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements, phytochemicals and fibre into your diet all year round – and they’re freshly harvested and locally grown right on your windowsill. Broccoli sprouts are cleaned and packaged. Origin of the main ingredient(s): Italy. Use: Ideal as a topping for salads, soups and in smoothies. Preparation instructions: Rinse thoroughly with clean water before sowing and consumption. Fibrous roots may form. Soak for six hours. Water twice a day and harvest after 4–6 days. Ingredients: Broccoli seeds (Brassica juncea), from certified organic cultivation. Allergy information: May contain traces of mustard and cereals containing gluten.
